St. Thomas Episcopal Church is both a worshiping community and a village church that is a hospitable haven providing comfort, peace, succor and spiritual inspiration to all. Calling all members into deeper levels of communion with Christ and each other and inspires them to go forth to seek and serve Christ in the world.
All are welcome at a special Advent Lessons, Carols, and Poetry service on Sunday, December 2nd at 5:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Under the direction of Claudia McCain and poetry selected by Rev. William Harper, you will experience Reflections on Christ’s Nativity with deep prayer, scripture, music and poetry by Wendell Berry, Luci Shaw, David Whyte, Marie Howe, and others. Readers include; Rachel Brannon, Judi Fuller, Matt Gorby, Carter Hedberg, Bob Kesting, Ward Loving, Helen Morgus, Page Klune, Sara Pettit, and Tim Price. The St. Thomas Choir under the direction of Joel Bejot will lift their voices in song. There is a reception after the service. This service is a collaboration between St. Thomas Church and St. Thomas Playhouse.
