Serving families, babies and children is her calling and gift.
Jessica has been married to her favorite dude and multitalented husband, Joel Bejot, since December of 2001. Joel is the current Director of Music and Organist at St. Thomas. The two of them find it a huge blessing to be serving in ministry along side one another. Together they have three lovely, spirited, and fantastic daughters; Emma, Alaina, and Iris.
Raised as an LC-MS Lutheran, Jessica has found a spiritual home within the St. Thomas church community. She takes comfort knowing that she is welcomed as one of the many members that also come from diverse backgrounds. Falling in love with St. Thomas has inspired her to take classes, read books, and devour everything she can about the Episcopal tradition.
Jessica, considers herself an avid birth junkie and as such adores conversations about birth and babies! She also loves to do cliché tasks such as cooking, cleaning, sewing, and organizing! A couple of fun facts about Jessica:
1. She grew up in the Wood River Valley and graduated from Wood River High School. “That’s right folks. I’m a local! It feels so great to be home.”
2. She also opened and owned a Baby Boutique and Pregnancy Wellness Center in Colorado as well as a Labor Doula Practice. In her own words, “Being a business owner has strengthened my ministry skills and visa versa. I feel blessed and dare I say, lucky, to have vocations I am so passionate about.”
