Rob Gieselmann is not only an Episcopal priest, but a writer educated in both law and economics. He has served as rector of four parishes: Ascension (Knoxville, TN), St. Stephen’s (Belvedere, CA), Christ Church (Sausalito, CA), and St. Paul’s (Chestertown, MD), and as associate rector at one: St. Luke’s (Cleveland, TN). Rob attended the University of the South (“Sewanee”), where he earned his Master of Divinity, and Auburn University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science (Business Administration). Rob practiced law in Tennessee for ten years before being called into ministry, and he has published three books: Irony and Jesus (2019), The Episcopal Call to Love, and A Walk through the Churchyard. The father of two grown children, Rob experiences God most when he finds his bare hands digging in black soil or his feet trodding well-worn paths through the countryside.
